What should I wear?
It's recommended that you wear comfortable clothes that allow you to move freely. Since qigong movements tend to be simple and gentle, there is little sweating, so you can wear your work or everyday clothes to class and return to your activities without the need to change clothes.
What should I bring?
if you're attending an indoor class, it's recommended that you bring water. Chairs will be provided, but if you'd like to sit or lie on the floor, please bring a mat or cushion. If you're attending an outdoor class, you will need to bring water and to wear and bring appropriate clothes for the weather conditions, sunscreen, your own medication if you are allergic to insect bites or stings, and a folding chair or mat to sit on.
What is the difference between a class and a practice session?
In a class, there will be theory and/or instruction of methods presented. A practice session is a time to practice the methods and theories you have already learned or to follow-along if you haven't yet learned them.
Are there any discounts available?
There are discounts for purchasing practice sessions in advance. Check each class offering for packages or discounts being offered. If you are unable to afford the fees, you may apply for a scholarship for all or part of the amount which will include a pledge to do service for the classes or sessions or for a community organization.
